@dad.bitesTurn the usual chips packet over and you will normally find palm oil. Turn our jar over and you will find rice bran oil, zero trans fat and zero added sugar, under the same bold desi masala you actually want.

Everything people ask us before their first jar.
No. We use rice bran oil instead, which is the single biggest difference between this jar and the usual chips packet.
Ragi is finger millet, an everyday grain in Indian kitchens. It gives the chip a nutty, substantial bite instead of plain refined starch, and it is naturally gluten free.
Yes. Beetroot is the first ingredient on the label, and the colour on the chip comes from the vegetable itself.
Yes. Both flavours contain peanut, and they are produced in a facility where tree nuts and dairy may be present. Please check this before buying for anyone with a nut allergy or for a nut-free school tiffin.
Yes. The base is millet or beetroot with black gram lentil flour, rice flour and tapioca starch. Note the shared-facility line in the allergen answer above.
It is chatpata rather than fiery. The desi spice blend does the work, with only a little heat behind it.
They differ by flavour and the full table is printed on the jar. Both are zero trans fat, zero cholesterol and zero added sugar. Beetroot Masala carries 10.1 g protein and 7.9 g dietary fibre per 100 g.
Keep it in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, with the lid tight between handfuls. Do not buy if the seal is tampered with.
The chips give you a firm, salty snap. The makhana is lighter and airier. Most people keep one of each and pick by mood.
Orders ship within 24 hours from Delhi and usually arrive in 2 to 5 days. Cash on delivery is available across India. If the jar is not for you, tell us within 7 days and we will replace it.
